Digital Nearpod Interactive Lessons - Elementary Science

Digital Interactive Lessons are a must this year, from day to day in-class and online learning to test prep and assessment. Thankfully, by now we are all better prepared to tackle this new hybrid learning. My two favorite types of activities that came out of distance learning are: Boom Task Cards and Nearpod digital activities. With Boom Task Cards, I am able to target specific learning skills, while Nearpod lessons allow for comprehensive integration of lessons and outside learning resources, comprehension checks, and direct student engagement. Even better, since each student has access to digital activities in their account, they are able to review lessons at home and use it for test prep.

"The Amazon Rain Forest" Digital Activities Unit (22 page) includes;

- KLW Chart

- open ended questions

- lesson and reading comprehension questions

- the rain forest layers activity

- extension reading

- post lesson quiz

- new vocabulary

- word search

- post lesson project
